What Nobody Tells You About Engineering School
A few things I've learned so far:
- Sleep is a part of work, do it like you're paid hourly.
- Set a deadline for everything to trick your brain into overdrive.
- Ask questions. No such thing as a silly question. (e.g. What was the name of the boat from the titanic?)
- Send thank you emails to your professors. Say thank you for putting up with my dumb questions.
- BIG ONE. Read a summery about your class a week in advance. I was expecting trigonometry to be about circles...
- Ai is a tool for success, laziness is a tool for failure. Treat it like a tutor, not a cheat sheet.
- Lastly, ask the saints for help. Most of them went to school just like YOU.
